The Indoor Football Facility will unify the athletic department while providing all our programs with a cutting-edge structure that helps all our programs compete at a national level. It will support all of our programs’ practical level needs with inclement weather and significantly impact recruiting.
The building will have a 86,100 square foot practice area, including a full football field, ample sideline space, scoreboard(s), play-clock(s), and a long coaches platform to film and view practice. The design and architecture, which is phase one of this project, has begun, and was made possible through a generous donation from former football coach Joe Moglia.
The new soccer stadium is a valuable addition and fitting upgrade for our women’s soccer program that’s had numerous 10-win seasons in the last decade and a men’s soccer program consistently ranked in the Top 25 nationally. Our student-athletes and coaches of these programs with this much-needed facility will continue to pursue Sun Belt and Conference USA championships.
The new stadium will include locker rooms for both teams, and fans will enjoy a much-improved gameday experience with new seating and amenities. Additional details about the facility will be released in the coming months.
The indoor football practice facility will be located across from Brooks Stadium at University Boulevard and Highway 544.
The new soccer stadium will be built on CCU’s East Campus located across U.S. 501 at the intramural fields next to the Delan and Lynn Stevens Tennis Complex.
